This unit of competency is ideal for people working in operational roles who are required to have the knowledge and skills necessary to “move and test” various vehicles or pieces of equipment, within a large range of industry sectors.

After completing the accredited unit RIISAM301E Test operational functions of vehicles and equipment participants will have gained a clear understating of testing operational functions of different machine types as part of their practical assessment component. Each participant will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for their accreditation records. If requested, an additional Komatsu proficiency card can be provided, which notes exact machine types which participant’s were deemed to be competent on. This reference card is often useful when visiting client’s on-site.
